Business Management vs. Accounting Systems
It is important to note, that a BMS is not an Accounting System. While an Accounting System must follow strict accounting principles that are basically the same for any company, the BMS should be tailored to the individual company to give it increasing effectiveness and competitive edge. The BMS allows the company to process incoming information and transactions through a single platform, and handle an increasing number of customers and activities with proportionally decreasing effort. Some transactions will be entered manually by staff, but often other systems, services or mobile devices will generate them and it is important that they can be handled properly within the IT solution.
